73.24km. 678m ascent. 3h56 ride time
Today we needed a shorter day because we have been pushing quite hard. As it turned out we had a strong headwind so not as easy a day as we had hoped for.

Anyway the weather was perfect (except for the wind) and Kentucky is a beautiful green State
We left our church hostel which was a great place to overnight with a good shower and bunk beds at about 08:30 as it was a short ride today

The road was quite narrow but very few vehicles on it so quite a pleasant route through what could be mistaken for England if it wasn’t for the yellow lines in the middle of the road 😊

We had a few short climbs, but much less than previous days; if only the wind had been in the other direction 😬

We were really glad to arrive at our overnight church hostel in Sebree. This is a ‘must’ on the TransAmerica Trail. Kitchen, shower, food, pool table, table football, ping pong…. AC….
