An easy day today to bring us to Lexington as we have the hardest climb ahead of us tomorrow: Vesuvius up to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
We set off in pouring rain 
but it wasn’t cold and by lunchtime the rain stopped.
We also bumped into Matt in Buchanan when we stopped for coffee 
We took a detour to visit the Natural Bridge State Park. The park is well worth the 6km detour.
We weren’t so fast today because we had a 10-13km/h headwind but even in the rain Virginia is still beautiful
