Easy day today with a nice little tail wind and we arrived in plenty of time to check into the hotel / hostel.
Rich Graham, who rode with us from 8 May till 5 June, came and met us with his wife Melanie at the hotel as they were heading back to Illinois, not Chicago. They kindly offered to take our winter gear into safe keeping as we won’t be needing that any more.
After Rich and Melanie headed off to finish their holiday together Stef and I went into town to see about an evening meal and go to the bar to meet the locals.
We had a good meal and ended up staying for 1 beer too many at the bar with the locals…
