Richland to Brownlee reservoir
At last we get to cross the state line and get into Idaho. With a new time zone: Mountain time, which is 1 hour ahead of Oregon
Tonight was to be our first camping night as the weather has improved, no rain forecast and above 5C at night. Unfortunately, although we had a relatively short day, we still needed to ride to the store to get some provisions for supper (spaghetti bolognaise)
Incidentally the Brownlee reservoir is a dam in the Hells Canyon which is the deepest canyon in the USA at over 2,500m. Luckily we didn’t have to ride out of the deep end 😅
A good night’s sleep and back to the shop for breakfast
I even got a reduction on the campground fee 😂
