Prineville to Mitchell

Only 75km, so a relatively short ride but the first 50 we’re uphill! Not steep but long

It was a great ride up with little or no traffic so we could enjoy the scenery and concentrate on our efforts

After a much steeper descent WS had a short climb to Mitchell and our bike hostel

A converted church with everything you could think of that you might possibly need. From knee ice machine to toothpaste to bike repair kit

We met up with Rich again here, he had landed about an hour before us.

Enjoyed a good supper at the local Tiger Town brewery where a complete stranger talked to us and paid for our supper!

Of course, we had to drink their beer, we really had no choice
