Williamsburg is beautiful and a lot of the houses are original. All commerce is kept out of the town so you have to go to the edge to get a coffee or food which is really great and preserves the atmosphere of the colonial town. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williamsburg was the original capitol of Virginia before it was transferred to Richmond and was a prosperous town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were up early and got to see a lot before the other tourists arrived, which was good for the photos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later in the morning there were people dressed in period costume and they were very happy to explain their little part of the reenactment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
