We left our campsite in Kremmling after a good night\u2019s sleep and only ~65km to ride to bring us to the bottom of the biggest climb on the TransAmerica Trail <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scenery was breathtaking but as we had a bit of time on our hands so we stopped at the local gun club shooting stand to see what they were up to. Long story short we were chatting with Randy Nordholm and he offered us a round of shots at clays! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We weren\u2019t the top guns of the day and we didn\u2019t keep score but Randy said we were about 50\/50 hit and miss which didn\u2019t embarrass him \ud83d\ude05. We popped into the rifle section<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then back to the riding which took us through the beautiful landscape on the highway until we left to go round the dam<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here we ran into a store \u2018Master baits and tackle, Heeny\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These guys have just taken the store over from the previous owners who ran it for 25 years. Anyway we just wanted a cold drink and to fill our water bottles. They didn\u2019t want us to pay for the cold drinks and when we left after a good chat they gave us not 1 but 2 bottles of Gin! Great guys and anyone on the TransAmerica Trail must stop in. Don\u2019t let the exterior put you off (don\u2019t judge a book by it\u2019s cover!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We found a spot for lunch and ate our sandwiches before rejoining the highway up to our very posh hostel <\/p>\n\n\n\n
