Our biggest ride so far and after a big one yesterday, today was the hardest. 3 peaks of over 1,600m and 130km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What we did have is a magnificent backdrop of clear skies and snow covered mountains to occupy our minds as we crawled up the, not too steep climbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the 3 peaks we still had 50 Km to get to our hostel in Baker City. This was recommended by the manager of Spoke\u2019n in Mitchell. We had phoned ahead to book as we weren\u2019t sure how long it would take to get there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school stopped being a school about 30 years ago and a part is now a bike hostel. Quite cool \ud83d\ude0e <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were sharing with just one other guest \u2018Firefly\u2019 who was a musician playing in the Friday night concert in the school\u2019s auditorium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
