The general consensus is that you don’t actually need to be top fit to embark on a big bike adventure. We are starting our TransAmerica Trail (6,788 km and 66,231m ascent going West to East) on May 1st 2022, I have had a lot of time to train and have covered over 1,400 km and 14,000m ascent but Stef has not been able to trained very much at all, so we will be able to give an honest answer to this question by the middle of May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I believe I will enjoy the first week more than Stef and he will suffer, but we will see…..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
