I wish I’d planned my trip better. I have to return home tomorrow and the majority of the films will be screened during the second part of the week. I’ll just have to catch it when it comes to Belgium
Came up to the top of Sulphur Mountain to clear skies, loads of Asian tourists and beautiful views all around. Banff National Park is breathtakingly beautiful. I’m actually here to see the screening of Chris Eyre-Walker’s film ‘Dreamwalkers-The Faroes Project’ at the Banff Mountain Film Festival screening for the first time this evening. Really excited to see what the sold out, almost 1000 seat, cinema will bring as reaction.
The view from the Banff Centre. So chuffed to be here to see all these awesome films, just finding it difficult to adjust to the 7 hours time difference
Mukla posing during his short weekend at our place
Wow just keep trying
We had the entire group from Ria‘s Peru trip come over to East Belgium for some hiking this weekend.
Yesterday they went into Germany around Bleialf, today we went into the Fenn. It snowed all day but the nature was still so beautiful and where we hiked was virgin snow. Fantastic to break through fresh snow that sometimes comes up to your knees, but pretty hard work especially as the ground underneath was nor frozen but boggy. Still it was a great weekend and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.
Having damaged my Achilles heel running for a plane I didn’t catch, thanks to AA [no, neither Alcoholics Anonymous nor the Automobile Association but American Airlines] I was looking for another sport to replace cycling and hiking while my heel mends. Cut a long story short: skateboarding!
We had a beautiful night sky tonight, nearly full moon and thin scattered clouds turned the sky into something out of a sci-fi movie.
